Currently:
Stock Sport Suspension with 235/45 17" on 7.5rim.

Which one of these sizes would have problem with rubbing on inside or outside or fender ?:

Future:

Stock Sport Suspension with stock offset

255/40 17" on 8 rim
or
255/35 18" on 8 rim
or
265/35 18" on 8.5 rim (best match)

Will they fit ?

I think you would be fine with any of them on the stock sport suspension. I think I would go with the 265/35 R18's, though they may exceed past the lower sides of the fender wells. Therefore, you may want to consider mud guards to keep debris off the paint. I think you would be fine at the top center of the fender (where the rubbing would be likely to occur). The speedo would be virtually identical.

This might run into a problem though if you decide to go with an aftermarket suspension that drops below stock level at a later date.

Remember BigD? He reported on rubbing problem while his car was loaded. His wears 235/35 on 18X8.

Use 235/40 18 on an upgrade to 18". Tread width is exact and diameter is off .2". Should fit fine!

1.2" sect. width diff and 1" at the tread. It'll look cool on the blvd. but you need an expert to select your wheel offset. Be careful!
