So Bently says tightening torque is 10 Nm... so how do I tighten? how do you know?

Default So Bently says tightening torque is 10 Nm... so how do I tighten? how do you know?

i am going to be removing my shifter this weekend, and putting in a modded stock shifter. But the main bolt should be tighten 10Nm, how the hell do I do that!!!!

Or Sears, which every is easier for you. Sears will be more expensive.

Just tighten it. If it breaks, than you know you went to far.

Just tighten it nice and tight. It's a tight fit w/ a socket. I didn't torque mine and is fine.

Default 10 Nm is not very much. To comapre 120 Nm is what the wheel lugs are at. a 1/4" ratchet

should give enough force. Or, a 3/8" where it feels like you are about 1/2 tight. A torque wrench is good to have on hand, because overtighening can cause binding problems.

$20 bucks that seems cheap. I just paid $99 for one at Sears.
