Default so i get back from my hong kong trip yesterday

still sleepy as hell, but i'm sucha dork. my first picture i took as soon as i hit hk

i know, b5 but was still missing my baby.

found an Audi dealer the day after on a trip out to an island with the big budha. no pics but got a few ads for the b7

<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v172/chekm8/CIMG0020.jpg" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com">

saw a couple of b6's with a few kits and a handful of b5s. started missing my car/driving after about the 4th day there.

got back and got these toys. not sure if i'll put them up. need a dvd player--thinking of the asian one so i can play any region. will be a huge project--not sure if i'm up for it. if not, i'm just going to attach the lcds to the cameras. they're wirelss and wired (infra-red) and will be facing my front door as well as the car so i can see what bastages try to mollest my baby. haven't figured it out yet. they weren't that expensive anyway. lcd's were like 80 bux each and cameras were like 20 for the wired, 30 for the wireless.

<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v172/chekm8/CIMG0005.jpg" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com">

all in all, the trip wasn't bad--weather sucked. rained the first few days and a little gloomy the rest of the 8 days we were there.

Default no parts but did notice that all the b6's i saw had ecodes--guess cuz they're closer to europe

i still have the business card from the guy i got the LCD screens from, but he only spoke cantonese--good thing my girl spoke the language or i'd be paying up the exhaust pipe with these. going to see if it was worth the purchase before recomending them.

searched ebay to see if i was in the right range for the lcds and i'd say it was still a good purchase. the lcd screens this guy has is what i have. looks like he's sells from hk as well--never bought from him so not sure how good he/product is.

Default Sorry to hijack the thread, but...

you can 'unlock' your region 1 dvd player so that it plays dvd's from any region. All you need is your remote control and the right key sequence which can find on the internet.

TV may not work over here. It says on the box that it's PAL.

Default NTSC on the back. ran it to test it here and there are 39 stations, managed to grab fuzzy channel

32 and 36 which i think are asian channels here. didn't really try getting the antenna up. we tested the lcd with the camera connection and it works so if worse comes to worse, it'll be a monitor for the front door...
