from searching the forums, i think this is what i need to do?
1. take coilovers and car to shop, tell them what ride height i would like (ground to fender). give shop man ~$400
2. drive around for ~500 miles
3. readjust ride height (can i do this myself or do i have to pay the shop again? one shop quoted me $83 for adjustment)
4. get alignment at shop. give shop man ~$150
5. go wild

Here are a few mistakes I made so that you can learn from them and not do the same thing.
1. make sure your gas tank is full before adjusting the height.
2. I suggest you take the measurements from the middle of the hub to the fender instead of measuring from the ground. I made the mistake of measuring from the ground and I had to adjust the height like 25 times probably due to tire deflection. I measured from the fender arch to a 17mm socket I inserted in the hub bolt, it gave me more consistent measurements.

3. Don't forget to take a little ride in between all your adjustments to settle the suspension before re-measuring.
Good luck, I hope this helps a bit.

can they set this based on the perch height rather then going through a full height adjustment? talking to the shop guys, it sounds like they want to charge me a second time for height adjustment after the coilovers settle... maybe i'm just confusing them or something?
