Default That's good to hear...

I doubt I'll ever have the budget to go mod-crazy, but I'm sure I'd be doing the typical bolt-ons in the future...

Default Bull Crap???? I feel everyone is entitled to their own opinion..(m)

Mine just happens to be based off the fact that I work with these vehicles on a daily basis, and have spent several hours driving them. I've also had spent extensive time with VWs from a service perspective....but thats okay, because I'll respect your opinion, partially because you've owned one in the past :-) !

Default

Wait for the new model year. Looks much nicer, IMO.

Default Can't do it. My lease is up in 6 months. New Passat is over a year away...

Besides, this is just about as much as I'm willing to spend and I'm sure the new model will be more expensive and not have the same promotions available...

Default At least with the Passat you get "nice" leather on the entire seating surface

and not the crap they put on the center of the Audi seats along with the pleather bolsters.

Default Yeah, aside from the size/support of the seats, the interior is very cool...

Reminds me of my first A4...

Default I was going to get a 2k4 Passat 1.8T 4motion...

My A4 1.8T ultrasport was almost $100/mo cheaper with $0 down. Run the numbers on the A4 too, you might be pleasently surprised!

Default I have had the V6 4motion Passat GLX since 2000, and I have not had any problems at all.

I really wanted a new car so I bought the A4 ultrasport 1.8TQM Fully loaded, and I kept the Passat. I really love the Passat and I would have to say that the build quality is up to par with any Audi product.

Default I have both!

my wife drives the 2002 glx v6. I lowered with neuspeed sofsports and it sits just like my audi does with sport springs(i also have replica a4 sport wheels on it). they are a few things the passat has that my audi does not and vice versa. the memory seats and room are a definate plus for the vdub!
check for pics in my poster. no pics yet with the drop on the vw, but it looks very aggressive.
