Default I think I'll be due a new battery soon too - same year but with 125Kmi!

It might be my imagination, but it seems to crank a bit harder lately. What's the consensus on batteries - pick up a generic or other brand, or go OEM? I heard that there might be fitment issues with anything other than OEM.

Default I ordered an Odyssey battery from Home Depot...

Jeff Lee on AG has one and likes it a lot, apparently no fitment problems (I'll find out soon).
A lot of people here seem to like the Optima.
Mine gave no warning signs, it just didn't crank last night when I got off work.

<a href="http://www.homedepot.ca/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CatalogSearchResultView?langId=-15&storeId=10051&eid=REC&catalogId=100 51&N=0&Ntk=level1&Ntt=Odyssey%20PC%201 200%20&Nty=1&D=Odyssey%20PC%201200%20& N

Default my friend owns a car parts store and said that none he had could fit my car...

it has to do with the recessed terminals or something. Most people here drive pick-up trucks or SUV's, that's what the car parts store stock up with parts wise (my town has only 5000 people, so inventory is limited).

What SKU# exactly - your link didn't bring up a specific battery.

Default Re: My friend did a load test on the battery and it is dead...

The OEM battery is not sealed. Just removed the adhesive strip on the top and use a penny to open each cell cover. I check electrolyte level once a year and top with distilled water if needed.
