So my check engine light went out after two months of being on...
and now my front passenger window drops down about 4 inches when I close it. So now I close it almost all the way and it stays there. No biggie - I'll see if the problem goes away before I go to the dealer or start yelling about how crap Audi's are and start writing dozens of moaning letters to AoA.

Sounds like the pinch protection needs to be reset (have you already tried this?)...
My front passenger window has done that a couple times now. Each time, I just <i>manually</i> roll it all the way down and then back up several times until the pinch protection is reset. Seems to do the trick...
