I'm home loving the 60 degree weather. My favorite thing to do is drive with the windows down, which is especially nice when it's not 90 degrees out.
Remember just 6 days ago when I said I'd be trading in my car? "I mean it's sad, but I'm nervous every time I put the windows down that they aren't going to come back up." (<a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/1006313.phtml">B6 A4 Post #1006313</a>)
Well I get in my car and the first thing I always do is put the windows down. Today is no different then any other day. The windows are all almost down completely when I hear <b>crunch</b>. I know this sound (<a href="http://search.audiworld.com/search.html">check here</a>). This is the sound of another $400 being flushed down the toilet.
Well I have to go to my doctor first before I can worry about the car. I have my mom call my indy shop not because I'd bring it there, but rather out of curiosity to see how much they'd charge for parts/labor to replace the window regulator. They said like $340, so I figured I'd just take the dealer ripoff. Well now I'm nervous, because my car is parked with the windows down. I try once to put it up figuring I can't hurt it any worse and it just grinds and grinds so forget that. I leave it open take my iPod and radar detector into the doctor's office with me.
I leave the doctor my mom calls and says just bring it to the dealer, and I agreed since I can't wait for parts and indy shops likely won't be <i>much</i> cheaper on this task.
I get to the dealer the service adviser sits in my car puts the window switch up and magically the window goes up. I was like what the hell. Is it possible? He said well I don't think it'll sink on you again without you physically putting it up, so that window better stay up or you're out $400.
Well this just adds to the list. If there was ever a hope of me deciding to keep my car that's 100% gone.
Oh yeah and I get in my car to drive away and now my blinker is out.
It is never ending. I'm just done with this thing. It's sad, but as much as I enjoy to drive it I'm fully ready to move on.
All the while my car remains unfixed from the oil leak fiasco (<a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/1005463.phtml">click here</a>).

it gets worse especially when all vehicle related costs become 100% out of "your" pocket. Good Luck
