My windshield is pretty sand blasted from all the driving I do. It glares in the sun and is not very good for vision.
Thinking of getting it replaced with non-oem windshield so the glass is harder and not as soft as OEM.
Anyone have a non-oem windshield? Better than OEM to withstand sand blasting and such? Insurance covers my windshield replacements so I should do it if it doesn't cost me anything.

not for the anti-pitting (did not have it long enough to really tell), but the distortion appeared to be less noticeable.
I think TeddyBGame in NE had a good recommendation for auto glass installation in the Boston Area, and others agree with his recommendation. If you search the NE forum for "Don Cotton" you'll see some good feedback.
