Default Yup ! They read a few articles, and go off sprouting unrelated facts out of context.

If you are in car sales, you get to endure a lot of that ;-) And you can't tell them that they suck, because they might be buying a car from you.

Even wose is working the auto shows. They bring out all kinds of very odd mis-informed people. The more ignorant they are, the more convinced they are that they are right.

Default Nonsense. I had the earliest model available in the U.S., the...

'83 Ur-quattro as it's come to be known. No problems. A close friend bought an '85 4000 S Quattro new, and after 300,000 miles, the transmission and Quattro system were fine. I know the newer Torsen systems are a bit different, but I seriously doubt any reliability issues are out there. Tell your friend Audi has been doing this for over 20 years now!
