Default Chances are no one has a receipt for the same price you paid your friend...

Get your friend to write you out a receipt and both of you have it notarized. cheers! mike

Default Re: sorry to hear man.. what insurance do you have?

some insurance companies are more difficult to work with than others.. but i think sometimes they will work with you if you can show them some legitimacy that you actually did purchase them.

g'luck dude.. sorry to hear about the theft again. =/ bastards..

Thanks... I am with Amica. They are usually great but are giving a real hard time about this one. Depending on this ends up I might chance insurance compaines. Looks like you have the S4 mirrors. Tight... They are/were sick.

Default Changing insurance companies won't help,,,

Notifying them of a mod and keeping receipts is the only way to make sure you are covered. No insurance comapany will cover a modification that is not documented in any way. Think of it this way,,,, you are the insurance company, someone pays you a premium based upon a certain risk, they call you later and ask to be reimbursed for something not included in the original, paid for risk, but they have no documentation, they just tell you that they are honest. Would you pay?

Sorry to hear about them getting ripped off. I have been thinking about picking some up and some ecodes. Maybe I'll go with neither if I have to worry about my car anytime its on the street.

Over by SF State... There is area with a lot of apartments and duplexes right off on 19th (west side). I've had things happen to my car their more than once. I won't be going back. I would still pick up the mirrors just make sure you contact your insurance company like I didn't. Now I am paying for it. But man... They were sick while I had them.
