Sounds from the center console?

Sounds from the center console?
While I am driving, I hear light, metallic sounds coming from the area around my shifter. It sounds like two pices of metal lightly rubbing together when I am causing a lot of vibration from accelerating or over rough spots on the road. Anyone else?

Rattles & squeaks for me always go away after removing all change, CDs, tapes, batteries , etc.
from all the little storage cubbies, espeially the door side pockets, ashtray, and center console insets.
