Spark Plug Intervals
What is the expected life of the standard plugs in the 1.8T engine? I have a 2002 A4. I am not sure if the car comes with Platinum plugs as standard or if NGK resistor plugs are standard as in the Passat.
I am considering a set of Denso Iridium plugs. Any thoughts/experience with these?

Before, I had...
a '00 BMW 328ci. I asked the same question about spark plugs and my dealer tech said that they don't change spark plugs until 80K miles anymore.
I think that generally on 4-cyl, they change the plugs when you get a new timing belt around 70K.
