Default Spark Plug Question. I have been reading that some people here use Copper Plugs as well as

Platinum Plugs. They say you can literally tell a performance diffrence.

Questions:
Is this true?
What Plugs?
How much are they?
What is the logic behind the improved performance?
How big of a PIA is it to change plugs in our cars?

Default Copper dissapates heat quicker than platinum...they run an average of

30-40 degrees cooler than the same plug in a platinum. Platinum is used for one purpose, to make the plug last longer (100,000 miles in many cases). Platinum has no performace advantage at all. In fact it cannot be run in high pressure turbo or nitrous types of environments. Copper is simply a better conducter. The only drawback is that they need to be changed at every oil change. I use these coppers. They are the same heat range as stock and come gapped at .032:

Default Ok, Im sure the sounds really dumb but, it says that...

the Copper plugs on that link are gapped -11 or .044 and then Re gapped to .032. Not being a technical guy myself, how does one gap a plug? Also I have no idea how to get into our engine to remove the plugs nor where they are....
TIA.

Default I'm running the Bosch coppers that are two steps colder than stock...

They work great, the BKRE6 are great too, also ran the BKRE7's and they did well, just settled with the Bosch, cause they're German. : )
