Speedo and tach are not matching up... more inside

but my speedo is based of the tranny rpm, and the tach of the engine rpm
Put any tire on there and it still has the same ratio, the actualy vehicle speed will be off to an outside source, as per a radar detector will tell you your actual speed, which may differ than the speedo because of the tire size.
Stock tires fwiw, but it makes no difference with speedometer-tach relationship. Fact.

Mine sits at 4k at 90mph and when he drove across the country he called me about it being at 4k rpm
I guess i should research what your B6 gearing is really...

For future referees, using an indicated road speed of 60 mph, makes....
comparisons of relative variables easier to calculate being
1 miles/min, common time basis with rev/min etc.
