Is the sport package on the 1.8 and 3.0 the same?

Is the sport package on the 1.8 and 3.0 the same?
I'm getting a 1.8 and I want to test drive the sport package. Dealer doesn't have the sport pak on 1.8 but only on 3.0. Can I assume that they'll both have the same feel. If so, I can try the 3.0 and if I like it, order it on my 1.8. Since it's supposed to be stiffer than my current 99 1.8 sports pak, I am concerned that it's too stiff. Might go with 16" wheels instead.

almost the same...3.0 is heavier so suspension is slightly different...also, 3.0
sport option is 750 while the 1.8T is 1000. Not sure what contributes to this difference, but my guess is that the standard wheels maybe? 1.8 standard is 15 in. and 3.0 is 16 in.
