Ok so I finally was able to have the OEM sport suspension installed on my 2002 1.8tq. After some confusion on the bumpstops (see post below) I just had the shop cut the rears. I will have them install the OEM bumpstops when I do the sway bars.
First impressions: wow. Besides the fact that the car looks so much better, even on OEM 16's, it rides so much better. The highway off/onramps coming home from my EMT class tonight were amazing. And this is still with the non-sport sways. Rims are going on tomorrow so I will try to post (if I can figure it out) before and after pics and then create a sig (if I can figure it out). The car seems to have settled properly avoiding Stonehenge's problem when he converted to sport suspension. I'm so happy I had it done. Special thanks to Chris (kiley on here) for the parts. They were in great condition and at a great price. You helped me achieve my dream. And thanks to Euro-Tire in Fairfield, NJ for accomidating my little A4 in their shop full of Porsches. Ahh its so awesome

That's what I discovered also. The ride is not as harsh and jarring, while at the same time, is more controlled, and makes the whole car feel tighter and more solid. The suspension finally performs like it should have from the start. And, I no longer suffer the embarrassment from the excessive wheel gap, and the resulting social rejection! :>

Can you post them or email me a copy? I am investigating a possible issue with the camber angle that results from this upgrade, pertains to stepped wear of the inside edge of the front tires.
