Sports package vs no sports package? (Used Car Q)

I bought a 2005 non-sport and bought a slightly used suspension (inc. sway bars) from a sport. Everything all pieces plus installed/aligned, about $750. Only thing I don't have is the sport aluminum trim (which I rather not have anyways),and I wish I would've gotten the S4 sway bar .. other than that a great improvement :-)

The thing with this car is that it's USED. Finding an A4 with the sports package USED is not an easy task, and I think he can always do aftermarket suspension mods later on, and he'd be willing to.
I know the sports package makes it better handling, but the way my friend drives, I don't think it will matter much.

you need springs, shocks, sways, and must have an alignment done... very labor instensive install too (unless he could do it himself it'll cost a lot)

I got it with my 2018 SQ5, will certainly get it with any future car I buy. It's worth it, for ride comfort. For everyday driving, I keep in Comfort mode (only thing I don't like about this mode is the "loose" steering, but it helps cushion the excessive pot holes we have here). In the winter (here in Canada), I've raised the height several times a year to get through ice ruts on the road. It's one of the reasons I'm choosing the SQ5 over a Macan.
