SS Installation help

Ring I can account for, but that bolt & nut has got me...
in for a spin. I can not recall those in my package. All I can think of that the bolt & nut is maybe used for is if your SS Lever stem and the shift fork were shipped "unassembled". That's probably what it is for.
My SS was assembled and it only came w/the SS (stem & fork), "pinch" clamp.
If yours is assembled, they probably sent it by mistake.
