what is the purpose of this post? Trying to beat the Paparazzi? ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The first two paragraphs are redundant and the post seems to be making an end-around attempt at calling Stasis out on their center diff.
For 400HPA4, it sucks to hear about this and the 400+ mile trek to Eurocode.
info@eurocode, do you feel that the center diff Stasis provides as an upgrade is inferior? Or are you trying to show that it saved the whole tranny from getting chewed up?
I'm all for good or bad news when it comes to aftermarket performance reviews/feedback. But coming from a respected tuner (Eurocode), I would like to hear some constructive feedback considering this piece of hardware.

yet it seems the failure of the differential is entirely blamed on that one track event. as you know i know nothing ot so little in mechanic but i still find it hard to believe, especially w/o any further reported information/proof/investigation, that the reason the diff broke is b/c of that one track event.
could it be that it's an accumulation of things that made the part fail?
afterall and if i'm not mistaken, Michel has been running the same part for a while on his car, and as you also well know, he's not light "footed" and has put his car to the paces many times.
it just seems Dave is a little quick at drawing conclusions. i know he probably only wants to warn/inform people, but like i said, w/o providing any more info, it just seems really out of place.

Just cut Greg's unit open.
When I took mine out it did not look like that. STaSIS used my diff (I shipped it to California) as a B6 guinea pig. The TorSens in the B6 are slightly different from the B5s. I can't recall if this is just a physical difference or if there is an actual mechanical difference.
BTW, it takes about 30 minutes to remove the TorSen from the car.
TorSen inside its casing.

Seeing as Eurocode is fixing my car, and I am the one paying for it...David can post this wherever I ask him. It is pretty nice to be able to log on and find out that the center diff was the only thing wrong with the car...I was not looking forward to spending $7,000 for a new tranny.
David posted this for me so I could see the pics at work today...(AZ was firewalled, so he posted to AW)
I am sure what is up with you guys, but nobody has said anything negative whatsoever...
The facts of the matter are that the diff gave away...I have overnighted it to STaSIS (they provided me thier account number) IT will be evaluated and possibly warrantied.
FWIW, I have had this installed since last August and have approx 7,000 miles on it...I drive the car pretty damn hard and this is the first diff they have heard of grenading.
The day before it died, my girlfriend did a track event at Thunderhill Raceway Park. The car was not driven super hard (her primary focus was perfecting her lines and learning to trust the brakes on the car).
Regardless of the outcome...I felt pretty comfortable with how it worked prior to the diff giving out...
As far as the tune goes...I was running 50/50 C16 and 100 octane Sunoco, boost was 23-26psi and the timing was not to agressive. Prolly was pushing 330/340awhp and about 365awtq.

Those are 3 different photos showing the upper gears all the way around. They are not 3 pics from the same part of the diff sorry I should have made that clear.
I thought it would be interesting for you guys to see pics of a center diff put together by Stasis engineering after 1 track session that simple. If you don't like the photos or are offended by them please accept my apology Arctic Ultrasport.
