Steering Fluid Level Problems with Audi's?

Twice now my steering fluid has gone low for absolutely no reason other than an unexplained leak. I am about to have to take it in again because the whining and moaning noise when turning is coming back, and I've only owned it for 2 yrs.
Audi technicians acted bewildered about there being a leak in the first place. They werent sure why or how. Im not sure how they patched it cuz its apparently back.
When I owned my Honda back in the day, everyone including myself seemed to have muffler problems. That was the "Honda thing". That and needing to replace the breaks quite often.
Is steering fluid levels an issue with Audi's or is this isolated (along with the other guy who posted the same problem below)?

does the A4 use pentosin hydraulic fluid? The older audis tend to leak it when they age. When I say tend to, I mean 99.9% of them seem to, but I haven't read anything about the A4 leaking around here.
