Default Stinky Audi Factory A4 Floor Mats!!! Anyone else?
I just put my winter rubber mats in that i bought when i got my A4 in July and they stink to high heaven. The smell of the rubber is so intense, i have had to ride around with the windows open so i dont pass out from the toxic smell. Has anyone had this problem and does the smell go away? I would hate not to use them when they cost $100 and Im sure they wont take them back.

If I remember right there's an obscure little note that comes with them: 'Wash with soap and water'.

Default All of them smell like that. I left mine in the car for about a week and the smell went away or just
soak them in the tub overnight.
