Default Stock Stereo Questions???

I'm looking to redo my stock stereo but have some questions...
1. How many amps are in our car? One?
2. Does it run ALL the speakers, or just the sub?
3. How hard would it be to replace door speakers in front and rear?
4. Should I leave stock amp in for front and rears and just run a seperate sub amp with some subs.
5. Do you think anyone will offer (JL Audio) anything like in the old A4s that mount underneath the rear deck for woofers?
6. Anyone thought about putting Euro dash in for single DIN opening. What's the costs? Or is it even possible.
7. Is it a pain to run wiring (power cable, RCA cables, etc.)

Thanks for your help.

Default Ok, here goes..............

I don't have the Bose system and it comes with two amps. I believe Bose is the same. One amp runs fronts and center speaker and the amp in the trunk on the right side runs the rear speakers and the sub. Wiring is actually pretty simple. The plastic mouldings on the the floor come off pretty easily. It is not easy to replace speakers on the doors, you would have to dismount the door panels. I'm running a separate sub amp for a small 8" JL Audio sub in the trunk,(nothing big). What I did was take the signal from the stock sub and divide onto the amp that I put in and then ran that to the new sub. So my stock sub and the new sub work simultaneously. I have the the Bently manual with all kinds of schematics if you need more info. Hope this helped.

Default i'll try as well

1) 1 amp in trunk.
2) rear amp powers stock sub and rears. head unit powers fronts (i think)
3) replacing speakers has been done by some on this forum...but it's a pain to do
4) i run an amp and sub and left everything else stock and it kicks butt....
5) possible..but don't see it anytime in the near future
6) dunno
8) running wires isn't a problem. there's a great write-up by "a4pat" on this forum. do a search for posts with his username within the past 5 months and you'll come across it

e-mail me if you have anymore specific questions, i have lots of helpful links
