Anybody know wtf those pull down hooks are for in the trunk? They are self retracting and secured to the top of the luggage compartment. There is no apparent mention of them in the manual.

I was wondering the same thing. I read the manual cover to cover and found no mention. I came up w/ a few likely uses but I don't know for sure.
1. ski boot holders?
2. grocery bag hangers?
3. cargo net hooks to separate the trunk into separate compartments ?

any other ideas ? I plan on hanging grocery bags on them to be honest hehehe...they look pretty strong.

i think that those are for the optional ski bag ...only 50% sure though....time to call the dealer??
