Default i could be wrong, but I don't think any of the kits for the 6 speeds with push down reverse replace
the stock ball socket. my kit didn't

Default no problem, im actually going to be helping Paul (Turbo Whip!) install his AMS SSK soon
so then we both can compare how the Strat compares to the AMS SSK

Default If the needle bearing is greased properly during the install I don't think it would require
a touchup. Like how much wear could there be at that pivot area to eat up the grease?
