Default Stupid Question. Do you negotiate on the price of a lease? (more)

For example, if there is a lease deal for $299.00 for 3 years do you still negotiate on the price?

Default yes. unless you just want the deal they offer. some people will hammer them on price

and then tell them, oh by the way, i want to lease not purchase.

leasing is tricky, there's a lot of ways for them to make money

Default yes............(m)

in your case, ask the purchase price, then decide wether you think the dealer can make you a better deal by lowering the price. Some pre-set deals are at the lowest price they will let it go for.

Default those are the tips......

and there is not a ton of ways for dealers to make money...they make in on selling price and on the back end (through financing)....just like he said, negotiate price first, then tell them your leasing....if they say "well thats a purchase price not a lease price"....say "well, when you decide to make it a lease price, call me"...give them your number and leave.

Default the question you need to answer is

how they arrived at that price. there is a formula. do your home work.

http://www.leaseguide.com/index2.htm</a
