I am in the process of changing the tie rod..removed the 2 front bolts, but the adjusting nut is not turning at all....used pentrating lub for 3 hours already...any suggestons anyone??

whack the tie rod with a hammer & punch (might need a helper).

So, just whack the hell out of it, and the nut will loosen up??

the put the inner tie rod in a vice and use a torch to heat the bolt up then use two box wreches against each other.

this is by far the fastest way to do it if they are really seized up. takes about two minutes to removce the inner tie rod because its always covered by the tie rod boot.

good firm taps in the center while you loosen the nut.

There's not a pin through the nut is there? Also make sure it isn't staked.
