suggestions on roof racks?

Default OEM doesn't have a fairing, that wind noise can get pretty annoying. I would get Thule because...

You can use it on your next car by changing the fit kit. The Thule feet have the nub that lines up with the holes in the door frames which makes installation much easier. I went with Thule base and a Yakima viper bike tray. Very happy with everything. Just watch those low clearances (learned the hard way).

Default I actually searched for the 505 (old school) fairing because I thought the new one looked like a ...

snow shoe or something. But I guess those plastic pieces cut down on noise even more and are stiffer making them less likely to wobble and damage the roof.

OEM doesn't need fairing. The aero base bars are more aerodynamic and reduce wind noise.

Default Yeah, I guess your are right about the new one. The old one still does the job for me though.

It seems to fill the space between the top of the bars and the roof better than the new fairing.
