How do you take the tail lights of to change the bulb. my left break light went out.

then pop the plastic cover off the back of the housing to reveal the bulbs. it's about a 1 out of 10 on difficulty. Biggest thing that troubles people is getting the housing out. it is snug, work with it and make sure to pull it out away from the direction you unscrewed the screw, everyone try's to pull back and it doesn't work.

leaving it in, although loosened, will still hold the tail light in place. You have to pop it outward, hinged on the outside of the light (there are two rubber nibs that hold it there).

You'd be surprised. It would seem that once loosened, that it would pop off... but nooooooo.
