I managed to fix this by disassembling the phone, your LCD is probably not lightning up. There's 2 screws behind SIM doors and 2 behind the logo in the front, heat the logo with hair dryer and it should come off easy. Take the steel frame from LCD down and clean the connection with a bit of kontakt spray.
