is there any way to check if you oil is warm enough to rev high bc we dont have oil temp gauge.more

Default is there any way to check if you oil is warm enough to rev high bc we dont have oil temp gauge.more

i just dunno when its ok for me to rev high and i just wanted to know if there is any method or way to know that the oil is warm enough for high rev...besides of course getting a new oil temp guage.thanks

Default No accurate way. I keep it under 3K and no boost until

the coolant temp gauge settles. This isn't a real indication of when you can put down the hammer, but it does prevent doing so much too early.

Oil temp guage would be preferable over water temp. Too Bad!
