Default Is there any way to increase idle 500-1000 rpm?

My car won't pass emissions at idle, but when I raise the rpm a bit, it is fine. I was wondering if I could use my VAG to do this. I read the archives but it seems that you can maybe raise the idle 500 rpm with adaptation.

What would be the advantage of this? Besides eating more gas while not even moving?

Default For this guy, passing emissions. I guess it would make my clutch/gear chatter go away if I set...

Mine to idle 200rpms higher. No reason that is compelling enough for me to do it. cheers! Mike

Default Your chatter wont go away if your raise the rpms.

I have mine set to 1000 rpms and it did not change the slight chatter I get.
