Is there any way to put custom audio deck with casette or cd into A4?

I wouldn't want to get rid of the stock head unit, but I was thinking about how nice it would be to have XM Radio capability without having to use FM modulators or tape adapters!

I am thinking about MP3 player from AKAI or Kenwood or/and Nav system like Nakamichi or Bosch. But I didn't notice any possibility to put any of them into '02 A4 instead of Symphony or in addition. Or am I wrong?

Audi head units are not a standard DIN size, so any aftermarket head unit won't fill the gaping hole left by your Symphony II. However, a good installer should be able to build you a trim kit to allow for either a single or double DIN (standard size) head unit.
I had this done in my '98 when I removed the Delta. It's not the same as these cars, but you get the idea. Notice the black plexiglass trim on the sides of the head unit. My installer made this trim ring to fit into the opening left by the Delta and give a more stock appearance.
