is there anyway i can get Winter Tires on our sport 17inch rims?

Just buy 17 inch snows. I have 235/45/17 Blizzak LM-22s on my stock sport rims. Keep in mind though that, as many have pointed out, a narrower tire will "bite" better in deep snow. I seem to deal more with icy roads than deep snow, so the 235's seem to do just fine.

but ur better off just gettin some cheapo steel rims 15,16 and cheaper snow tires IMO -

and they're great in the snow. Sold my Pirelli 16" Winter 210 Snowsport tires cause I hated the look for 5 long months.

They plow the roads and highways around here very well, so in a day or two the roads are completely dry ... that's why I stayed with the sport tire size. But even in snow and ice the wide M2s have plenty of traction.

I just put Dunlop M2's on my 17's last week, great tires!
