Default Is there an easy way to move the rear sub-frame?

I'm trying to center the rear sub-frame to fix a toe-in issue. I loosened all four of the 18mm bolts but I can't seem to budge/slide it. Do I have to compress the springs to take some pressure off?

Default You can't shift the rear subframe like the front subframe. ....

Regardless, the toe and camber are adjustable on the rear, what is the problem you are having with the toe settings?

Default Re: You can't shift the rear sub-frame like the front sub-frame. ....

The left is at .39 degrees and the right is at .11. The left side's adjuster bolt is maxed out (low as it will go) so I cannot balance the two sides, or get them closer to 0. While under the vehicle I noticed that the rear sub-frame (drivers side) is shifted to the front of the car, while the passengers side (front mount) is slightly to the right on the large silver washers. Causing the rear thrust angle to point slightly to the right front of the car. So, using the right rear mount as a pivot point I want to pull the drivers side back, to bring the lower control arm back and out a bit. That should give me some added range for adjusting the toe to about .05 degrees per side. The shop that did the alignment would not touch the rear sub-frame, so it's up to me to get it centered. I would have just taken the car somewhere else, but I signed up for that life time alignment deal. Once I get things somewhat centered I'm going to take it back for a another alignment(free).

Default The rear doesn't have oversized bolt holes like the front does. But it will move around some...

Like you suspect, decreasing the spring load will help a lot.

Default So that's what's holding me back.

Well, I guess I'm off to AutoZone to rent a spring compressor (for the 3rd time). Like you said, there is only a small range that the sub-frame will move, but I think it should be enough. Thanks.
