I'm looking for a simple ignition (+12vdc when ignition is on, 0 when off) wire ideally in the engine bay somewhere. I've got a wire I can use from when I did my stereo install, but it's in the dash and I figured using one in the bay would be easier than feeding one through the dash out into the bay. Anybody know of one?

theres a plug in the fire wall which you can remove to easily get a wire from your fusebox to the engine... the plug is located to the left of the ECU and down...its about 2" in diamater and made of a balck rubber...just look around down there you'll find it eventualy
(note you will need to remove the plastic cover that traverses the far end of the engine bay to locate it..)
