Default Is there a noticable diff. between oem S4 rear sway and H-Sport S4 sway?

My mind has been made up on the H-Sport rear sway but the money keeps holding me up. Should I settle for the oem S4 rear sway or would I be shortchanging myself? I want to get one before the end of this month. And obviously I'm having a hard time making a decision.

If it's like the allroad H-Sport, it's probably adjustabloe, and bigger too.

Default Yeah, it's 24mm compared to 18mm. And adjustable.

The oem S4 sway is 20mm.

Default Gotta tell you, it was the single biggest improvement on my allroad!

If it's a matter of $$, try NOPI to see if they have a deal going, or call the good guys at TireRack to see what they can do for you.

The H-Sport stuff is first rate!

If you just want to do the rear, then get the S4, but if you want a full set, go with the H-Sport. I've tried the H-S rear by itself and the car was a handfull with the oversteer.

Default Definitely

That's why S4 owners are upgrading!

It's about a 4mm difference, which is huge in terms of performance. You'll also gain some adjustability at the end links.

Default You actually got oversteer with the just the rear?

How does the allroad handle stock? Understeer? The A4 understeers alot. I'm not sure if I'd get oversteer with the h-sport rear.

Default Oh yea.

Stock, the allroad understeers like a pig. I tried the A6 sport suspension RSK rear bar first, but there were no H-Sports at the time. Helped some, but still understeered, even with 18" wheels and tires, though much nicer than stock.
But with the H-sport set, rear on stiffer setting, car is pretty neutral. Still understeers at the limit, but very nice feeling. Tried the rear H-S with stock front and it was a handfull. Rear was extremely twitchy and felt uncomfortable. And this from a guy who raced Porsche 911's.
