Is there an RJ45 connector with phone connections in the B6 like it was in the B5?

Default Is there an RJ45 connector with phone connections in the B6 like it was in the B5?

In my last A4 (B5) there was an RJ45 connector under the center arm rest that had all the connections for phone kit pre wired. Is there a similar connector for the B6?

This made it really easy to install a phone kit.

Default I already have an Ericsson HCB 300. What's the difference, you still have to wire it....

If there's no connector, does some have a diagram of the best place to get my 12v, switched 12V, and ground? Also, what do you do to avoid getting the annoying humm with the alternator?

With my old car being prewired I didn't have to worry about this.

your phone doesn't need to be wired, just the parrot kit which plugs into the back of the stereo

Default You don't have to wire the kit to a voltage source? Just curious because I may...

just get one for my wifes 1.8t. And just to clarify, the Ericsson kit is Blue tooth as well. It also has a connector to use the car speakers (sold separate). I just want to do a clean install with no issues.

Default Can you elaborate a little? I'm going to get a wiring harness for the speakers that's

similar to the one in the Parrot kit. It's just a generic speaker wiring harness. I'm asking because I do have Bose, and I don't want to spend $50 on this adapter if I can't use it.

It doesn't matter if you have Bose or not, the wiring is the same.

Default Re: get a parrot bluetooth kit

You can use the steering wheel buttons in a 2004+ vehicle:

You can install in any Symphony or RSN-E 2004+ vehicle using a Parrot bluetooth kit and steering wheel controller apparently - see:
