Default these are really dark, I'll post better ones tomorrow

No easy task gettin those rings off. and a boatload of gum to remove. goo gone, wash, p21S, then automotive adhesion promoter 3m 06396.
AND I have a perfect set of chrome rings, without a drop of adhesive on the back side.
H-M-M-M.............
P.S. ...I liked the totally bare look almost as well. has anyone done that? It looks great. IMO.

i think your rings are crooked or maybe the angle at which the picture was taken

Left side looks a little lower-maybe its the angle?

Default I think they are crooked...

He used a level, but perhaps he forgot to check that the car was also on a level surface. He probably should've measured from the edge of the spoiler when mounting the badge.
