1, those taillights are disguised so i'll reserve judgement til i see the final car
2, they do look similar, but those "taillights" are also looking like they came off an A8....

Headlight tapers up similar to a Nuovolari headlight...they put a chrome looking decal to conceal it.

Even without the tape on the rear?
I did a quick PS to remove the tape underneath the tail lights.
