im getting a new A4!
YAY!
i wanted:
dolphin grey
ebony interior
premium, lighting, sport
but my dealership (rusnak in pasadena) said that they are having a hard time locating one with exactly those options
instead they have:
moro blue (thats the really dark blue)
platinum interior
premium, lighting, sport.
so i guess my question is...
-how does the platinum interior match with the blue paint?
-since the moro blue is so dark... is it really hard to maintain?
-i wanted black but its just SO HARD to keep...is getting a moro blue practically the same as getting black?
any thoughts? comments? im just kinda torn right now cuz i dont know what to do... i have a feeling i might never get the car that matches EXACTLY what i want... and the moro blue is a pretty tight color but im just questioning the platinum interior and also the maintenance of the moro blue paint job...

..have your dealer find it or order it.
The ebony with alm. trim is AWESOME. I'm glad to see that audi brought it back.... just after I bought my 03, of course.

and now that I have it I think it was a better choice. The ebony is definitely more sporty, but the platinum is so much easier to take care of. I had black interior on my B5 and it was a PITA to always keep clean. Every little speckle of dust shows up on black.
However, exterior color is something that I personally couldn't budge on. Moro is nice, but between Moro and Dolphin, I'd go with Dolphin. It the the second fastest color out there.
Second to Denim.

I'd say that so far what I've seen the Moro Blue looks like it's gonna be a pain to maintain. My wifes white C230 and my A4 were purchased about a week apart. I waxed them both the same day in the fall. When they were both parked next to each other in my garage I could see every little hairline imperfection in my Moro Blue and it was a pain. I kept going back a rebuffing areas. Her white was easy and looked awesome.

haggle the price down on the blue one since they don't have exactly the spec you want. Make sure to go see another dealer to see if they have find the one you want.

Because they are most likely just not interested in trying to find it for you. I visited/contacted just about every SoCal dealer looking for a certain set up and no one could find it, except for one; Beverly Hills Audi. All dealers have access to the same search info on what cars are available and on their way. So don't believe them, they are most likely not looking very hard. Visit BH Audi before you decide. The sales people are great. No arrogance or BS. I have heard praise about them from many other customers since my purchase.
