Default Thinking of Painting my A4's Lowers to match body color ...But

Not sure if its worth doing on a Brilliant Black Car...They obviously look great on Bright mettalic or colored A4's...The Dark Grey valances already seems to compliment the Black finish of the car...I've been pricing around...the best deal so far I got is $580 U.S...including removal of the valences for thorough painting and reinstall when done...They said they'll paint the lower grills to match if I like....

I like to know opinion of others if its worth spending to paint the lowers on a Brilliant Black A4...Can anybody post an image of One if somebody already did it?..Thnxs

Default I'm waiting to do that to mine. BB here too.

...that was the only downside on the car. $580 is a good price. I did some shopping locally and I found anywhere between $1100-1800. I asked for recommendations here on AW and someone suggested Wetworks Garage in Orange County...I'm in San Diego. They're charging $660. They specialize in the bottoms. It'll be very worth it. It'll give a 'psuedo aftermarket body kit' impression.

Default Black is one of the only colors I would say you must paint the lowers on : )

The unpainted looks nice on silver, dolphin, colors like that IMO.

Default Had to be careful which shop to choose....

One body shop was willing to do it for $290...but they where just going to sandclean and mask the car to paint the lowers on the spot....I could've done that myself...

Default My guess is if they came painted no-one would paint them gray.

The gray isn't that bad in person. It just does not photograph well.

Default I also want it to match my Front Lip Spoiler...

Thats also one of the main reason I thought of doing it...I ordered the Zender Front Winglets pre-painted BB...Probably the smallest or most modest aftermarket spoiler for the New A4...I Like them alot ...but on a bright day..they do sometimes look somewhat "Sticks Out" being that its contrasting the Lowers "Grey" Color...
