Default Third Coilpack Failure

I have almost 6000 miles on my 2002 A4 V6 QM and the third coilpack just crapped out on me. This brings me within the Pennsylvania Lemon Law parameters which says that three stikes for the same problem within 12000 miles and one year is a presumed violation of the Lemon Law. The trouble is that I don't want a refund, I don't want a different car. I just want new coilpacks for the 4 remaining cylinders. I sure hope that Audi sees the light and gives me 4 new coilpacks and avoids the expense of a lemon law claim. I love my Audi It is exceptionally unreasonable beavior on the part of Auidt not to allow the dealers to replace all the coilpacks after repeated failures. There must be some way to prevail upon them to do so.

Judging from these surveys this must be a fairly unusual situation. Very few V6s seem to have the coilpack problem and even fewer of them have three failures and even of those who do, the problem occurs right after cold starting, like my first two failures. I felt pretty secure driving the car because I figured that if it brakes it will happen when I start it and then I can just take my other car. However, this time the failure occured about 10 miles from the house. I drove it home, I am not sure if I fried the catalytic converter but it smelled like something was really hot under the car. This is really a pisser because otherwise I really like this car.
