My bentley is not working.
Need a diagram of the secondary air injection system. I keep getting a CEL and I'd like to see what the system entails.
thanks.

First, thanks a lot for the diagram. Lot's of help.
Second, you said you were fiddling with a SAI system not to long ago? What was the problem? Is there a vac hose that is prone to break? What's item 1 in the diagram..a vac pump?
These are the codes I'm getting on my 3.0
2 Faults Found:
17831 - Secondary Air Injection System: Bank 1: Insufficient Flow
P1423 - 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded
17819 - Secondary Air Injection System: Bank 2: Insufficient Flow
P1411 - 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded
Where are these "banks"?

I want to go with 2.5" IC tubing so taking the pump out (and the whole system when I get my block off plate) gives me more place to work, there was nothing wrong with it.
There is a vac line that goes from the combi valve (looks like the V6 has 2, it's #11 and #12 in the diagram) to a solenoid valve under the intake manifold on the 1.8T (not sure about the 3.0, sorry).
#1 is the secondary air pump itself.
The codes you are getting are the same (only one Bank in my case) I am getting now due to removing the secondary air pump.
I would guess the problem is with the pump (I might be wrong though).

from the combi valve. Check your hoses first before buying expensive valves and pumps. I bought some replacement 1/4" silicone hose , for like $2.
I made a write up and posted it on the forum. Happened I think back in Sep-07.

fix this covered under the emissions warranty since this seems to be a strictly emissions system. They just installed 2 new cats 3 weeks ago.

The pump is located (on the 1.8T anyway) on the passenger side, just inside the wheel well.
<img src="http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q33/x1rider/sai3.jpg">
It is fairly easy to remove, just unbolt the bracket, disconnect the harness and the lines and you're done.
<img src="http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q33/x1rider/sai4.jpg">
You have to plug the hose to the combi valves though (that's what I did until I install the block off plate).
