Looks like a lot of work, but it might work for some of you who are being quoted MSRP+. I honestly feel there's no reason to pay MSRP or even above that with the way the economy is.
I didn't try it because surprisingly it was easy to talk my dealer into selling me the car at $1500 over invoice -- San Fran area. Which translates into $1327 under MSRP in my case. I know of some who've even gotten $1000 over invoice! Congrats to them!!!

Ive been to Rector in Burlingame and Stevens Creek in San Jose and both wouldnt budge off MSRP - didnt wave any cash in front of them so perhaps thats why they didnt bite when i began mentioning discounts off MSRP. Can you let me know which dealer is willing to negotiate and is that price agreed to before the order and deposit is placed?
