For those with Rear lip spoilers, how was the spoiler installed? Glue, Adhesive tape, Screws?

Default For those with Rear lip spoilers, how was the spoiler installed? Glue, Adhesive tape, Screws?

Or a combonation of these things?. I want to get an idea I will be getting my lip spoiler soon. I dont want to drill. Thanks In Advance

my Votex lip is glued. body shop used a glue that they use often for those things

SPP sells a lip spoiler. I do not know the name, it comes with screws. Skibum reply to that now TIA

Default when u find out who makes it lemme know. i find it weird that they would use screws

when you can install em perfect with glue. doesnt make sense

Default Glue. There is a special type of glue used for those things.

Tape can seperate over time in temp extremes and cause uneven part attachment. Ends up looking cheap. Screws can lead to rust since you'll be penetrating the protective galvanized layers. Since Audi offers a 12 year unlimited rust warranty, that might not be such a good idea if the car is leased ( the leasing company may charge you for a new trunk lid since the rust warranty is voided ) or you plan to keep it a while.

Default The S4 spoiler has bolts, but they can be removed....
