Default Those Running GIAC Big injector file...How are things going

I have wanted this mod since it was rumored to exist. But I dont have the money to replace the clutch and motor mounts. I know there are a few of you running without replacing the clutch or the mounts. So my question is how is that going?

Simple enough right? I have not been able to get any info from GIAC about this and im just curious why? There is no mention on website Or anywhere for that matter. Whats the deal?

I got my original flash done in Maryland but i have relocated to Florida. Im Thinking of taking a trip up to georgia to have the program updated.
Can My 2002 with 37000 miles handle the increase in boost?

The cronical continues

Most likely, I have had it for 10000 miles with no problems. I did upgrade my snub and engine mounts, kind of by choice though, not out of nessecity. Although a snub mount would be rec.

Your clutch should be OK, just check to make sure that they have the programing fo the 2002 box.

Bottom line your car will run great, the midrange on the car will be nuts. Take care of your car and it will take care of you. If you get the upgrade and start kicking the **** out of it than I would not advise the upgrade, because you will probably roast your clutch.

37000 miles on your clutch, have you been nice to it? I have had zero problems.

25,000 miles it was upgraded, 30,000 miles software update from initial, 35000 miles and still running strong, now issues...

Good Luck,
Andrew

Default Yeah i have been nice to the clutch. How much did it cost to replace the motormounts and add the..

Snub. Actaully what does the snub do and who makes a quality one?

I have only made the mistake of glazing my clutch once. And I was trying to run it up to jump off the line. Other than that i Shift smoothly and never double clutch.

What would you consider to be to hard on the clutch?
I know that sounds like a dumb question but I wanna be sure to protect it

Also what is your gas milage like?

Lots of questions
Sorry

I hve heard great things about the new APR 1+ software.

I will say that I do have a friend upgraded to the new 1+ from APR. He is on this board. He is going on 2 months with his car not really running.

Most are good, nothing is perfect, and all cars may take diferently. So local support is important.

hard launches on a daily basis..

Snub mount is not too expensive. I do not think you will need to do motor mounts right away.

Talk to your local shop.

Neuspeed and apr both make a snub mount

Default hey Andrew, have you tried the GIAC mobile tuner?

I mean, all things being equal between GIAC or APR injector programs, the GIAC has the option to play with the settings.

Sorry, Ihave never tried the Mobile Tuner.

I like to set it and forget it. If they need to get in there and do something then they can.
