Default Throttle body hose keeps slipping (not off)...new clamp or stock hose can't handle boost?

I adjust my throttle body hose every couple of days. I noticed it was not all the way snug up to the edge of the TB so I would loosen the clamp, adjust the hose and tighten. But every couple of days, I would notice it'd slide down again.

Just a crappy clamp or the added boost from the injectors too much for the stock TBH?

I noticed this happening with just the flash but the hose would take much longer to slide back down after adjusting it...

Default Remove hose from throttle body. Apply brake cleaner to a lint-free rag,

clean inside of belt and throttle body neck making sure you remove any oily residue. Reconnect hose with a HD clamp. You should be good to go.

I had the same problem last year. Upgraded to the APR TB hose and T-Clamp.

Any difference noticed between the stock and APR TB hose?

Default In terms of performance?

Nope.
But I like the fact that it doesn't slip.

I always had good success with rubber cement. It helps the grip and isn't permanent.

Mmm I never have any problems with my Samco hoses. Perhaps use a tbone clamp?
