Tiptronic Mileage Comparison- Sport versus Regular setting
I am curious if anyone has noticed any difference in mileage with their tiptronics depending on if they select the Sport mode or the regular D mode. If the Sport locks up the converter quicker, you might argue that mileage could be better in Sport Mode for the same style of driving. . .

I find sport doesn't find the right gear unless i'm driving extremely spirited....
And i went through 3/4 of a tank in sport mode after only 100 miles on saturday (big DC Audi GTG with a long ride up and around maryland).
Sport definitely lowers my gas mileage compared to Drive...but then again, i'm only using sport when i'm driving...well, sporty!
