stock 16" rims? then too wide, stick to 215/55 max

whats the width of the wheels? I used to run 225-50-16's on my 16x7's and they were fine.

Running 225/55/16 ContiExtremeContacts on a 16 x 7 w/ no problems.

Default yes, they can be run w/o rubbing issues etc. My point is that is too wide to be optimul
for the rim, you will have too much sidewall bulge and performance will suffer slighlty..ie turn-in will be slower because of all that sidewall bulge - the handling is just not as crisp, just my .02.

I wouldn't. Currently running 215/55-16 oversize on my Accord, lol. It's a good size, use it.

if they are 7-8" wide you will be fine. if they are 6.5". stick with the 215's.
